About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cinematographer cum Video Editor who can bring creative concepts to life for advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shooting high-quality ad videos, editing with precision, and enhancing projects with engaging effects, sound, and graphics.
This role requires both technical expertise and artistic vision to ensure our content is compelling, visually appealing, and aligned with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to understand scripts and project vision.
- Plan, shoot, and manage video production for ad films and client campaigns.
- Review raw footage, determine shot lists, and maintain continuity across scenes.
- Edit video footage using modern editing techniques and maintain logical storytelling flow.
- Insert dialogue, sound effects, background music, graphics, and visual effects to enhance video quality.
- Perform trimming, sequencing, and color correction to produce polished final cuts.
- Create engaging motion graphics, transitions, and animation elements.
- Deliver final output optimized for multiple platforms (TV, digital, social media).
- Stay updated with the latest video trends, styles, and editing technologies.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience in Cinematography (camera handling, lighting, framing, and composition).
- Advanced proficiency in video editing and post-production.
- Must be an expert in the following software:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Blender
- Skills in Color Correction, Motion Graphics, and Visual Effects (VFX).
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and storytelling ability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Animation, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum [1 years] proven experience as a Cinematographer and Video Editor, preferably in ads/advertising industry.
- A strong portfolio/showreel showcasing previous work is mandatory.
